Kingscroft House, Sutton
City Planning was instructed by Charterhouse PD to obtain the necessary consents to redevelop an existing HMO site to increase its capacity to 52 rooms as well as obtaining planning permission for an additional storey.
The project involved working alongside FC Architects to develop an appropriate scheme for the site. City Planning put forward a successful case for the reconfiguration of the existing HMO and erection of a second floor to enable an increase to 52 rooms.
In addition to this, City Planning advised on CIL charges and co-ordinated a team of external consultants who provided advice on transport and environmental health issues.
Planning permission for the scheme was granted in 2016.
