City Planning was instructed by Giansophi Ltd to prepare and co-ordinate a strategy for the redevelopment of the site. City planning successfully obtained planning permission for three self contained flats together with a double pitched mansard roof extension to the four storey property in Soho in October 2016. Planning permission for a further residential unit in the property was obtained in January 2017. The addition of an extra unit has led to 4 high quality residential units being created in total in a highly sustainable location, which will make a valuable contribution to Westminster’s housing targets.
To obtain consent we worked closely with Studio +44 LLP architects, and a daylight and noise consultant, to develop a site specific design that avoided any harm to neighbouring occupants and successfully increased residential units in Soho helping to meet Westminster's housing targets.
City Planning has been instructed to advise on CIL matters prior to work starting on site.
