City Planning was instructed to prepare a strategy to extend and convert this two storey property in the West Wimbledon Conservation Area into flats.
In August 2017 City Planning successfully obtained consent for significant extensions to the property by way of a three storey rear extension and basement excavation. This allowed for the property to be converted into eight flats including, two studios, one x one-bedroom, three two-bedroom and two three-bedroom flats. City Planning successfully demonstrated that the property was able to sustain a large rear extension and through the use of large lightwells, accommodate two self-contained studio flats, solely in the basement.
