City Planning was instructed by SAV Developments to prepare, co-ordinate and submit a planning application to redevelop the site to provide a new build HMO (House in Multiple Occupation) for 33 rooms, including two off street wheelchair accessible car parking spaces.
The project involved working alongside DGA Architects and the Local Planning Authority to develop an appropriate scheme for the site. City Planning put forward a successful case to significantly increase the size of the HMO.
In addition to this, City Planning advised on CIL charges and co-ordinated a team of external consultants who provided advice on transport, sustainability and environmental health requirements.
Planning permission for the scheme was granted unanimously at committee in 2016.
