City Planning was instructed by Charterhouse to obtain the necessary consents to redevelop the existing site to provide a mixed use development consisting of commercial floor space on the ground floor, 23 residential flats on the upper floors and 3 houses at the rear of the site.
Prior approval to change existing office accommodation on the upper floors to 18 residential flats was obtained first. This was followed by obtaining planning permission to extend the building to create an additional storey to accommodate five further residential flats, as well as three houses at the rear.
All 25 residential units were for private sale.
Planning permission for the scheme was granted in 2015.
